Old Metallic Navigation Panel

Step-By-Step Instructions:

Creating left navigation panel with old metallic look

Create a rectangle using rectangular shape tool.

Enable add to shape area from the top bar. Create two circles using elliptical shape tool.

Enable “subtract from shape area” at the top bar. Create a rounded rectangle using rounded rectangle shape tool.

Create more rounded rectangles and place below each other.

Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown.

Similarly create rounded rectangles and place as shown.

Apply same layer style. Double click the layer to open layer style window. Enable and apply inner shadow settings as shown.

Create two circles using elliptical shape tool. Apply same layer style we used for the first rectangle layer.

Double click the layer to open layer style window. Enable and apply inner shadow settings as shown.

Duplicate the first rectangle layer. Remove layer styles, scale down and place as shown.

Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown.

Duplicate the circle layer several times. Scale down and place as shown.

Type link names over this rectangle.

Select and merge all the layers. Duplicate the layer and change the layer mode to “Vivid Light”.
