Photoshop Tutorial
In this tutorial we will learn how create a mannequin effect from a person’s photograph.
1. Open a photograph of the subject that you want to turn into a mannequin.
2. Goto Layer > Duplicate Layer. Click OK.
3. Make sure duplicate layer is active.
4. Goto Filter > Brush Strokes > Accented Edges. Adjust the sliders until the person in the photo has a mannequin texture.
5. Click OK and you should have something similar to the following effect.
6. With the duplicate layer still active, zoom in on the face.
7. Select the Eraser tool. Begin erasing the eyes, nose, and mouth. Also erase everywhere else, accept the skin.
8. Select the Smudge tool. Set the Strength to a low number. Choose an appropriate brush size.
9. Zoom in and begin smudging various parts of the skin so that the skin appears smoother.
10. You should now have your Mannequin Effect.
